Hi! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I am Amanda Edwin, a multipotentialite with varying passions and skills that continue to evolve as I grow personally and professionally.
I am a proud woman of color finding her way as part of the Caribbean diaspora in Ontario, Canada, and my family is my greatest love and accomplishment.
I’m an island girl at heart, and the beach is my happy place. When I’m not soaking up the sun, you’ll find me teaching, writing, providing notary services, developing programs for Spark Hope for Kids, creating products for my Etsy store, Mandy Musings Co, volunteering within the racialized community, or planning my next travel adventure.
Growing up, I was deeply inspired by my mother — a fierce advocate who showed me the importance of serving others with compassion and purpose. That same passion drives my mission today: to empower families, educators, and communities to thrive through knowledge, creativity, and trust.
As an immigrant and a racialized woman, I’ve faced my share of challenges — from job loss to the struggle of forging my own path. Yet, those experiences have fueled my commitment to advocacy, resilience, and empowerment for racialized families and children.
Through Spark Hope for Kids, I help educators and parents build stronger home–school connections and nurture children’s emotional well-being and cultural identity.
Through Mandy Musings Co., I design uplifting printables and creative tools that inspire confidence, self-expression, and belonging.
And through Amanda J. Edwin Paralegal & Notary Public, I provide professional services grounded in clarity, integrity, and care — because details matter when protecting what’s most important.
Every part of my work shares one purpose: to bridge worlds — life, learning, and legacy — with purpose and heart.
Join me as I explore life, share stories, and offer insights on education, empowerment, and diversity. Let’s connect, inspire, and ignite potential — in every space we touch. 🌈

As part of the LBIH program’s vibrant networking series, I had the opportunity to lead a session on Handling Difficult Conversations. It was an energizing experience—full of thoughtful dialogue, real-world scenarios, and some truly challenging questions that kept me sharp and reflective.
The audience brought curiosity, courage, and a willingness to dig deep. Together, we explored strategies for navigating tension with empathy, clarity, and purpose. I left feeling inspired by the exchange—and reminded of the power of brave conversations to build trust and spark growth.
